Athletic Training

The top priority of the Sports Medicine team is keeping our student-athletes safe, healthy, and in the game. The focus is on prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries that may occur. Penn State Schuylkill's sports medicine staff consists of a certified athletic trainer, athletic director, team physician, and coaching staff. The certified athletic trainer and/or team physician have the final authority to determine if and when an athlete can return to competition following an injury.

All student–athletes must have a completed pre-participation physical signed by a physician prior to participating in any intercollegiate sport. The required pre-participation for can be found on the Athletic Forms page. A physician is on campus in the nurse's office every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  All necessary athletic forms can be found here.  For any questions, please contact Kate Fullerton.

The Althletic Training Room is located in the Health & Wellness building Room 116.
