Schuylkill tops Regis, 7-4.

Penn State Schuylkill Lady Lions improve to 2-1, with strong performance versus Regis College. After surrendering a run early, Schuylkill took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 1st on a Erin Luckenbill single scoring Sierra Sallada and Luckenbill would score all the way from first when Hayley Wolff tripled. Schuylkill would add four more runs in the 2nd inning to take 5-1 lead. Pitcher Hannah Sell, would hold Regis in check over the 1st 5 innings. Regis would score 1 run in the sixth to close the gap to 5-2, but Schuylkill tacked on 2 more in the bottom half of the inning, including an RBI triple from Makenna Rushannon. With the score at 7-2, Regis threatened in the seventh when their first 3 batter's reached base, the Lady Lions surrender and run in exchange for the first out of the inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Regis's Alexa Nejaime hit a deep fly ball to left field that was tracked down by Alyssa Hatter over her shoulder who then doubled off the runner at second base to end the game.
