Schuylkill Cheer Makes Program History at First Competition
Penn State Schuylkill Cheer took the mat for the first time in program history with an impressive showing at Williamsport High School.
In a milestone moment for the program, Penn State Schuylkill Cheer competed in its first-ever cheer competition, delivering a stellar performance that showcased new elements, strong execution, and tremendous school pride. Under the leadership of head coach Crystal Dennison, the team has grown significantly over the past year—adding new members, including male cheerleader Gabe Tsilman, and building a culture centered on dedication, hard work, and spirit.
The squad's routine reflected months of preparation, teamwork, and energy, representing the campus with pride both on the sidelines and now on the competition mat. Allie Benulis also represented Schuylkill in the individual jump-off competition, adding to an exciting and memorable day for the program.
A historic and successful debut for Schuylkill Cheer, with many more milestones ahead.
