The Penn State Schuylkill baseball team showcased resilience and firepower in a 13-8 comeback victory over Central Maine CC to open their run at the USCAA Nationals. The win advances Schuylkill to a pivotal game against PSU Mont Alto at 10 AM today, with the chance to continue their journey at 7 PM with a victory.

Game Highlights:

• Offensive Explosion: Schuylkill's bats came alive with 11 hits and 10 RBIs, led by standout performances:

  • Owen Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with a double and 4 RBIs, consistently delivering in clutch moments.

  • Brandon Pupek added a home run and 2 RBIs to fuel the offensive surge.

  • Roman Cieless and Conner Licklider also contributed with 2 RBIs each, with Cieless notching a double.
