Game 1: Penn State Hazleton 6, Penn State Schuylkill 2
Penn State Schuylkill fell behind early and couldn't recover, dropping the opener 6-2 despite a big swing from Roman Cieless.
Hazleton used small ball and timely execution to build a 3-0 lead through three innings, capitalizing on a sacrifice fly and two wild pitches. After the Lions answered in the third, Hazleton added insurance in the fifth and seventh innings to pull away.
Cieless provided the offensive highlight, launching a two-run home run in the third to tie the game at 2-2, scoring Conner Licklider. However, the Lions were limited to just four hits the rest of the way.
Michael Kohler took the loss, going 4.1 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits. Blake Deiter provided relief, striking out three over 2.2 innings while allowing two unearned runs.

After falling behind 2-0 in the fourth inning, Schuylkill answered immediately. With two outs and the bases loaded, Shawn Pallay delivered a clutch two-run single to tie the game at 2-2.
Hazleton regained the lead in the sixth on another wild pitch, but the Lions stayed composed. In the seventh, Tyler Shuey worked a walk and later scored on an RBI single from Conner Licklider to even things at 3-3.
In the eighth, the Lions capitalized on pressure and defensive miscues. Dan Zimmerman reached on an error, advanced on a sacrifice, and came around to score on a walk-off RBI single by Yostin Guerrero Solano.
On the mound, Dylan Siwik battled through six innings, allowing three runs while striking out three. Aidan Barner was dominant in relief, tossing two scoreless innings and earning the win.
