Penn State Schuylkill jumped out early but couldn't hold the lead, falling 12-5 in game one.
The Lions struck first with a four-run second inning, highlighted by a two-run home run from Tyler Shuey and RBI singles from Roman Cieless and Joey Ruggiero. Schuylkill added another run in the fifth on a solo home run from Dan Zimmerman.
Despite the early momentum, Scranton answered with big innings in the third and fourth to take control.
