Bio
Ryan Atkinson is set to enter his 4th season at Penn State Schuylkill in 2026-27.
Working primarily with Pitchers, Atkinson has coached four players to All-Conference honors, and three All-American selections. He guided Owen Shoop to the school’s record holder in career wins (19) and Dylan Siwik to PSUAC Pitcher of the Year honors. Atkinson also serves as the team’s strength and conditioning coach. He guides the team through the weightroom and nutritional vision.
The former Hood College standout, he appeared in 51 games and recorded 138.1 innings on the mound. Used as a reliever and starter during his time, he owned a career record of 7-12 and 2 saves. His senior season he went 3-2 through 15 appearances, 43.1 innings, 37 strikeouts, and an ERA of 2.49.
Atkinson resides in Hamburg with his wife Kristen, and his cat Tuna.
