Mowafi Led the Lions with 12 catches, 98 yards and a TD in Flag Football Weekend Doubleheader
Penn State Schuylkill came up short against two strong opponents on Sunday, dropping games to Marymount and Holy Family.
Game 1 Recap – Marymount 42, Schuylkill 0:
Penn State Schuylkill struggled to find rhythm in the opener of Sunday's doubleheader, falling 42-0 to a high-powered Marymount offense. The host team jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back, capitalizing on short fields and six Schuylkill turnovers. Ryliegh Sinko and Malak Mowafi combined for 44 yards through the air, but the offense couldn't find the end zone against a disciplined Marymount defense. Despite the result, Schuylkill showed bright spots defensively, including multiple pass breakups and a game-high six solo tackles by Makayla Hill.

Quarterback Ryliegh Sinko threw for 189 yards on 18 completions, but three interceptions halted promising drives.
