Flag Football Falls in OT Heartbreaker, Drops Second in Atlantic East Play
Penn State Schuylkill came up just short in a 13–12 overtime battle vs. Neumann before falling to Marymount in the second game of the Atlantic East Conference tri-match.
Game 1 Recap – Neumann 13, Schuylkill 12 (OT)
In their closest contest of the season, Penn State Schuylkill pushed Neumann University to overtime in a defensive showdown but ultimately came up one point short, 13–12. After falling behind 6–0 at halftime, Schuylkill tied the game in the third quarter with a quarterback run by Ryliegh Sinko to cap a 37-yard drive.
The defense was outstanding all game, with four interceptions and standout play from Avagale Jones (7 tackles, 31-yard INT return) and Makayla Hill (5 tackles). Despite forcing overtime and outgaining Neumann in total yards, a missed extra point in the extra period proved costly.

Game 2 Recap – Marymount 29, Schuylkill 2
In the second game of the afternoon, Schuylkill ran into a dominant Marymount team that completed a perfect 9-for-9 through the air in a 29–2 loss. The Schuylkill defense notched the team's only points via a safety in the third quarter, but couldn't contain Marymount's big-play offense.
Makayla Hill led the defense with a sack, and Sinko added 91 passing yards. Triniti Freeman hauled in 8 receptions for 34 yards, and Cheyenne Whitehead tacked on 34 receiving yards of her own.
