Lions Close Regular Season Against ECAC’s Best

Penn State Schuylkill wrapped up the regular season with a challenging ECAC trimatch against three of the conference's top teams—Eastern, Marymount, and Wagner—showcasing resilience, unity, and a continued commitment to competing together from start to finish.

In the opener against Eastern, the Lions moved the ball through the air behind strong efforts from Miranda Morstatt (6 receptions, 77 yards) and Mikayla Johnson (4 receptions, 54 yards), while the defense was led by Makayla Hill with 5 total tackles.

Against Marymount, the Lions continued to battle despite the result, with Hill again leading defensively (5 tackles) and contributions across the roster highlighting the team's persistence against one of the ECAC's top programs.

In the final game against Wagner, Schuylkill's lone score came on a defensive play as Kenzie Staller recorded an interception returned for a touchdown. Offensively, Morstatt delivered a standout performance with 8 catches for 111 yards, while Hill and Morstatt paced the defense with 7 tackles each.

The trimatch also marked significant individual milestones, as quarterback Abree Brown surpassed 3,000 passing yards on the season, while Miranda Morstatt eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards, solidifying herself as one of the conference's most dynamic playmakers.
