Program caps record-setting year with first-ever playoff appearance

Penn State Schuylkill saw its historic 2026 season come to a close on Tuesday night, falling 27-0 to Immaculata in the opening round of the Atlantic East Playoffs. The appearance marked the program's first-ever postseason berth, capping a year of tremendous growth and progress.
After recording just one win in their inaugural season, the Nittany Lions took a major step forward this spring, finishing with 10 total victories and establishing themselves as a rising program in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
Immaculata set the tone early with a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter, and added a pair of scoring drives before halftime to take control. Two additional third-quarter touchdowns extended the lead as Schuylkill battled throughout but was unable to break through.
