Softball Claims No. 3 Seed in USCAA World Series
Penn State Schuylkill Softball will enter the USCAA World Series as the third overall seed after finishing the regular season with a 22-12 record.
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Softball will enter the USCAA World Series as the third overall seed.
Led by Darle Cresswell, Penn State Schuylkill had another dominant season, finishing the regular season with a 22-12 overall record. Their 11-7 PSUAC conference record tied them for fourth in the conference. Joining Penn State Schuylkill from the PSUAC are the #1 seed, Penn State Brandywine; the #2 seed, Penn State Mont Alto; the #4 seed, Penn State New Kensington; and the #10 seed, Penn State DuBois.
Schuylkill will enter the tournament matched up against the sixth-seeded Lyon College (19-17 overall record) on Monday, May 13th at 8:00 p.m. The double-elimination tournament will take place from May 13th to 16th in DuBois, PA.
