The Lions grabbed an early lead in the third inning after Tayla Jones scored on a throwing error, followed by an RBI single from Emma Crisswell to make it 2-0. However, FDU-Florham found its rhythm in the fourth, scoring a run before exploding for five runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to secure the victory.
The Devils racked up 17 hits, with A. Rodriguez (3-for-4, 3 RBI, 2 2B) and J. Lambright (2-for-3, 2 RBI) leading the charge. Schuylkill's Emma Crisswell (1-3, RBI) and Kaely Walshaw (1-3, R) contributed offensively, but the team was limited to just five hits in the contest.
Crisswell (1-3) took the loss in the circle, allowing six earned runs over 4.1 innings, while Miranda Hess pitched the final 1.2 innings.
