Game 1: Penn State Schuylkill 11, Penn State Beaver 3 (5 innings)
Penn State Schuylkill broke things open with a huge middle inning and rolled to an 11-3 win in five innings over Penn State Beaver on Friday.
After Beaver struck first in the opening inning, the Lions answered immediately. Keira Devor drove in Emily Brent with an RBI single, and Mackenzie Carl later came home on a steal of home to give Schuylkill a 2-1 lead.
The game turned in the third when the Lions erupted for seven runs. Lillian Deibler started the scoring with an RBI single, Jade Weiss followed with a two-run double, Aryanna Bodge added a two-run single, Mackenzie Carl doubled home another run, and Devor capped the inning with her second RBI hit of the game.
Schuylkill added two more in the fourth, highlighted by Weiss' RBI triple, and never looked back.
Chloe Heckman earned the win in the circle, allowing just four hits and three runs, only one earned, over five innings.

The Lions completed the sweep on Saturday with a tight 2-1 win behind a composed complete-game effort from Aryanna Bodge.
In a scoreless battle through four innings, Beaver pushed across an unearned run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly. Schuylkill answered right away in the bottom half.
Nicole Domermuth reached and came around to score when Jade Weiss ripped a triple to center, tying the game at 1-1. Moments later, Mackenzie Carl delivered the go-ahead RBI single to bring Weiss home with what proved to be the winning run.
Bodge shut the door from there, going all seven innings while allowing just five hits and no earned runs. The Lions managed seven hits in the win, with Weiss and Carl once again leading the offense.
