Game 1: Penn State Schuylkill 10, Albright 9
Penn State Schuylkill erupted for 10 runs over the first two innings and held off a late push to secure a 10-9 win over Albright in game one.
The offense came out swinging, plating seven runs in the first inning behind key hits from Mackenzie Carl, Keira Devor, and a two-RBI single from Jade Weiss. Nina Wilk delivered a big swing with a two-run single and later added an RBI double, finishing with three RBI on the day.
Schuylkill added three more in the second, highlighted by a two-run single from Chloe Heckman to extend the lead to 10-0.
Albright chipped away with nine runs between the third and fifth innings, but Schuylkill's pitching staff locked in late. Aryanna Bodge earned the save, tossing two scoreless innings with three strikeouts to close it out. Heckman picked up the win in the circle.
Weiss led the offense with three hits and two RBI, while Carl and Wilk each added multi-hit performances.
