Johnson’s 19 points pace Schuylkill effort vs. Hazleton
Johnson led the way and Schuylkill battled on the boards, but Hazleton’s pressure and three-point shooting created the gap in a 56–32 final.
Penn State Schuylkill traded punches early and got an aggressive start from Mikayla Johnson, but Penn State Hazleton used a steady stream of takeaways and timely three-point shooting to create separation. Schuylkill kept competing possession-to-possession—especially on the boards—yet struggled to convert chances, finishing 9-for-38 from the floor. Hazleton's Bry'Yasia Izetta Monea Costen delivered the difference-maker with six threes and 20 points as Hazleton pulled away in the second half.
