Penn State Schuylkill hosted Wilson College in non-conference play Thursday at the Schuylkill Soccer Field. The Lions created several scoring opportunities, outshooting the Phoenix 10–9, but were unable to find the back of the net despite strong pressure throughout both halves.
Wilson took an early lead in the sixth minute and added two second-half goals to seal the win. Leah Alexander and Nancy Le each registered shots on goal for Schuylkill, while goalkeepers Kay Lee Morgan and Victoria Grimm combined in net to handle the Phoenix attack.
Despite the setback, the Lions showed persistence in their build-up play and improved defensive organization, maintaining possession and pushing forward late into the match.
