Women's Cross Country Competes in PSUAC Invitational
Penn State Schuylkill Women’s Cross Country participated in the 2023 PSUAC Invitational hosted by Penn State Scranton. Malak Mowafi finished 5th overall for the event.
DUNMORE, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Cross Country participated in the 2023 PSUAC Invitational hosted by Penn State Scranton.
Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / JFK Memorial) finished 5th place overall for the 6k event, with a time of 31:31.0. Also finishing in the top 10 overall was JiaYi Gong (Gordon, PA / North Schuylkill) who placed 7th overall with a time of 33:21.8. Nadia King (Harrisburg, PA / Susquehanna Township) finished right outside of the top 10, finishing 11th overall at 37:44.6.
Women's Cross Country will travel to Lawrence, Kansas to compete in the 2023 NAIA Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Friday, November 3rd.
