Women's Cross Country Participates in NAIA Championships
Penn State Schuylkill Women’s Cross Country competed in the 2023 NAIA Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University.
LAWRENCE, Ks. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Cross Country competed in the 2023 NAIA Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University.
As a team Schuylkill placed 6th overall with an average time of 40:48. Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / JFK Memorial) and JiaYi Gong (Gordon, PA / North Schuylkill) led the charge for Schuylkill, finishing 33rd and 35th overall respectively. Mowafi completed the 6k course at 29:39.0, while Gong crossed the finish line at 30:47.9 seconds.
