Schuylkill jumped out to an 11 point lead at halftime, 33-22. The Lady Lions were led by Sophomore Bree Green who had 14 points in the opening half and 18 for the game. In the second half, the ladies from York would make a game out of it. York used a strong performance from the foul-line to climb back in the game. York would make 16 out of 21 free-throws in second half, eventually tying the game at 55-55, with two minutes remaining to play. With 5 seconds remaining, the free-throw line that would seal the game for Schuylkill, Freshman Shannon Kenney would knock down a pair from line to take the victory.
